We are busily preparing for the May 5, 2026, County Primary Election. The ballot includes 25 positions. Some voters will also see school board seats. Prospective candidates can pick up a petition to run for office in the County Primary from either of our beginning December 22nd.

We have been updating training manuals, inventorying supplies and helping people interested in seeking one of the offices get helpful information.
I started giving my class on How to Run for Office in October. There are also classes scheduled for November and ending in January.
That’s when I’ll start then teaching Campaign Finance classes to help would be politicians navigate the complexities of campaign finance.
